The new three-way valve includes a calibrated counterbalance valve, a spring-loaded check valve and a shut-off valve. The calibration balance valve optimizes system operation efficiency, wide control range and precise flow. Spring loaded check valves prevent gravity circulation and backflow in the system, especially zoned pumping, parallel and stand-by pumping, and condensate application. The shut-off valve includes a calibrated nameplate and memory pushbutton so that the entire valve can be returned to its original equilibrium position after being shut off.
