Fertilization and irrigation method for fruit mulberry

   The adaptability of fruit mulberry is very strong, and the soil requirements are not strict, but the loose and fertile soil is good for its growth results, and the fruit fertilization can be divided into three times.  

For the first time, it is the base fertilizer for autumn. The mature farmer can apply more fertilizer per farm . It is better to apply 50 kg or more of the plants . Most use of round or radial fertilization.  

The second time, it is to apply quick-acting nitrogen fertilizer before germination in spring to facilitate germination growth and flowering results.  

    For the third time, before the harvest of mulberry, nitrogen and phosphate fertilizers were mainly used to promote fruit ripening and flower bud differentiation. After August , no quick-acting nitrogen fertilizer was generally produced.  

    In the strong growth period of mulberry trees, the requirements for water are high and sensitive to drought. Special attention should be paid to the supply of soil moisture. The optimum soil moisture for mulberry growth is 70%-80% of the maximum water holding capacity in the field . If it is less than 50 %, irrigation is required. It is believed that the 30-40 cm deep soil under the topsoil is held in groups by hand, and the hand is loose and easy to break into suitable soil moisture content. Fruit mulberry grows rapidly in fruit and matures It is particularly sensitive to water requirements, and in case of drought, it should be timely flooded. However, the fruit mulberry is not tolerant, and the water is easy to die, so the rainy season should pay attention to drainage.
