According to statistics from Shijiazhuang Customs, from January to August, Hebei's furniture exports and their parts totaled US$340 million, an increase of 49.4% over the same period of last year. The growth rate is higher than the national 21.3%. In the month of August, the province exported 51.39 million US dollars of furniture, an increase of 63.2% year-on-year, an increase of 29.5%.

From January to August, the export situation of furniture and its parts in the province still maintained a substantial increase in the overall situation of foreign trade. Langfang, Tangshan, and Shijiazhuang were the major export destinations, of which Shijiazhuang furniture exported 20.77 million US dollars, an increase of 69.1%, accounting for 6%.
