To effectively prevent and reduce the occurrence of construction safety accidents caused by quality problems of safety protection products, the Linyi County Construction Bureau aims to “strike out counterfeit and inferior products, clean up illegal use of products, and complete the allocation of missing security products”. One is to crack down on counterfeit and security products. The dense-mesh safety nets, horizontal protective nets, safety helmets and seatbelt manufacturers that are required to be purchased by construction companies and project departments must have production licenses, product certifications, and certificates issued by the state-specified labor protection products quality supervision and inspection department. . All safety protection products must use municipal-level record products, and the Construction Bureau is responsible for the sampling and inspection of safety protection products used at the construction site. Any construction unit that finds the use of counterfeit and inferior products shall be severely punished.

The second is to clean up the illegal use of products. All construction sites are prohibited from using old distribution boxes and switch boxes that were manufactured and delivered before October 2007, and it is forbidden to transform the power distribution components. The construction unit that fails to purchase the safety protection products or use the safety net or other one-time fee collection product without the safety inspections of the competent department shall be ordered to make rectification within a time limit, and the safety protection products that do not meet the requirements shall be removed from the construction site. In case of rectification, the construction of the project shall be ordered to stop construction. If the circumstances are serious, the construction unit and the person in charge of the project will be dealt with according to law.

The third is to complete the lack of security products. Focus on the lack of safety and security supplies fully equipped to match the low-grade safety protection supplies to update the file. According to the bulletin of the Ministry of Construction No. 659 and the spirit of the higher authorities, in Linyi County, starting from May 1, the new construction project must use new distribution boxes, switch boxes, total distribution boxes to distribution boxes and tower cranes. The power supply switch boxes for large-scale construction machinery and equipment such as construction elevators, material hoists, and concrete mixing plants must use the provincial-registered five-core cable distribution. The safety protection products in other key positions shall all be fully equipped, and all safety protection products with long use time, poor safety performance, and low grade shall be cleared out of the construction site.

Up to now, 16 construction companies throughout the county have fully carried out self-check and self-correction of safety protection products, and 30 major construction equipment such as tower cranes on construction sites have basically completed the tasks of cleaning and rectifying specifications. 96 sets of tower crane intelligent protection instrument 22 sets.
