First, the concentration should be accurate. The concentration of different fertilizers is different. According to the comparison of spray fertilizer concentration, the optimum concentration of urea is 0.2%-0.3%, borax is 0.3%-0.5%, ammonium molybdate is 0.2%-0.3%, and potassium dihydrogen phosphate is 0.4%. The spray concentration of other fertilizers should be prepared in strict accordance with the instructions or under the guidance of the technician.
Second, the fertilizer should be mixed well. Some trace element fertilizers such as ammonium molybdate are not easily soluble in water. When preparing, dissolve with a small amount of alcohol and then add water to the desired concentration to make the fertilizer liquid uniform. In addition, adding a small amount of soapy water or washing powder to the fertilizer solution to mix well can greatly improve the adhesion of the fertilizer solution on the leaves, which is beneficial to the absorption of fertilizer. After the fertilizer solution is prepared, it should be sprayed in time to prevent precipitation for a long time.
Third, the spray fertilizer should be in place. Many farmers only spray the fertilizer on the front of the blade and ignore the back. The results are often not ideal. Because the foliar fertilizer is mainly absorbed by the leaves through the pore diffusion, the distribution of the pores on the leaves is more than the front side. Therefore, foliar spray fertilizer should pay attention to the front and back spray, especially the back of the blade.
Fourth, the time for spraying fertilizer should be appropriate. The effect of foliar spray is affected by factors such as temperature, light intensity and rain. Spraying should be carried out in the morning and evening, especially in the evening, because the light is not too strong, the temperature is low, and the leaf surface is wet for a long time after spraying, which is beneficial to the absorption of fertilizer by the leaves and the improvement of fertilizer efficiency. Avoid the noon at noon, especially the hot days, avoid the evaporation loss of fertilizer, and do not spray before the rain to prevent the fertilizer from being leached by the rain.
