Recently, Professor Xia Hui of the Nano Energy Materials (NEM) Laboratory of School of Materials Science and Technology, Nanjing University of Science and Technology has made new breakthroughs in the research of iron oxide electrode materials for supercapacitors. The related research result “Achieving Insertion-Like Capacity at Ultrahigh Rate Via Tunable Surface Pseudocapacitance†was published online in February 2018 in the top journal of materials science “Advanced Materials†(Adv. Mater., 2018, 1706640; IF=19.791). The young teacher Yan Tang was the first author and Xia Hui was the author of the correspondence. This is the tenth paper that the team published in the past year with an impact factor of 10 or more. As the key to high-performance energy storage devices, energy storage materials are an indispensable part of the development of clean energy. Prof. Xia Hui's team is focused on the efficient use of clean energy and has conducted research on key materials of various energy storage systems. A series of advances have been made in the past year in the direction of lithium-ion battery and sodium-ion battery research.
