Therefore, when using biopesticide, be sure to control the temperature above 20 °C. Once the biological pesticide is sprayed below the optimal temperature, the growth rate of spores in the body of the pest is very slow, and the protein crystals are difficult to exert their functions, and it is often difficult to achieve the optimal control effect. The test proved that the biological pesticide control effect was 1 to 2 times higher than that at 10 to 15 °C under the condition of 20-30 °C. To this end, it is important to master the optimum temperature to ensure the effectiveness of spraying biological pesticides.
2. Grasp the humidity, spray at the time to ensure the quality of prevention and control. Biological pesticides are extremely sensitive to humidity requirements. The greater the humidity of the farmland environment, the more obvious the effect, especially the powdered bio-pesticides. Therefore, when spraying the bacterial powder, it is necessary to firmly grasp the morning and evening when the dew is not dry. When using it on vegetables, fruits and other edible agricultural products, it is necessary to make the agent adhere well to the stems and leaves, so that the spores are fast. Breeding, as soon as the pests eat the leaves, they immediately produce the drug effect and play a very good control effect.
3. Avoid glare, enhance spore vigor, and give full play to the efficacy. Ultraviolet light in the sun has a lethal killing effect on spores. Scientific experiments have shown that in the direct sun exposure for 30 minutes and 60 minutes, the spore mortality rate will reach 50% and 80%, and the ultraviolet radiation can also produce deformation and effect on the parasporal crystal. Therefore, avoid strong sunlight, enhance the vigor of the spores, and exert the effect of spore control.
4. Avoid rainstorms and timely medication to ensure that pests are killed. Spores are most afraid of torrential rain, and the rain will wash away the bacteria sprayed on vegetables, fruits and other crops, affecting the lethality of pests. If it encounters light rain after spraying, it is beneficial to the germination of spores, and the insects will accelerate their death after eating, which can improve the control effect. To this end, local agricultural technicians are required to guide farmers to use biological pesticides. According to the local weather forecast, biological pesticides should be used in a timely manner. It is strictly forbidden to use drugs during heavy rain to ensure their insecticidal effects.
